PATRICK PREWIT (HE/HIM), MA
Hi! I'm Patrick (he/him). I hold a Bachelor of Science in Sociology from Tarleton State University and a Master of Arts in Pastoral Care and Counseling from Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary with training in Psychodynamic Theory from the Center for Religion and Psychotherapy of Chicago. As a Queer/ Neurodiverse clinician, I work from a relational model that seeks to include both macro and micro aspects of life to co-create a better understanding of what is brought into sessions. In collaboration, I'm a firm believer in showing up authentically as myself and welcome clients to do the same as we work together. I'm fiercely committed to creating not just a welcoming space, but a liberating space that seeks to ask hard questions of reflection, deconstruction, and integration. My clinical interests include experiences of religious trauma/spiritual abuse, C-PTSD, attachment issues, Queer/Poly/Kink relationships, and stress under capitalism/oppressive systems and other isms.
