Kyah Hawk (she/her), MSW, LSW

I am passionate about working with fellow members of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community, Chicago’s nightlife scene, and local sex workers. My approach is sex, kink, & poly-positive, intersectional, nonjudgmental, strengths-based, and client-centered.

I see therapy as a space where we can work to decolonize our minds and unpack white supremacy along with all of its oppressive offshoots such as systemic racism, anti-Blackness, anti-transness, anti-queerness, ableism, misogyny, and anti-fatness with the goal of working to dismantle these oppressive systems outside of therapy.

If you are looking for a place to rage against the capitalist machine, embrace your neurodivergence, explore your gender or sexuality, process trauma or grief, work towards body neutrality, or cope with anxiety, mania, depression, or suicidality we could be a great match! I would be honored to collaboratively work toward your goals and hold space for you to reclaim your personal narrative.

If you’re looking for a specific modality, I primarily gravitate towards Mindfulness imagery, guided meditation, and breathing techniques, Narrative Therapy, Art Therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS) Parts Work, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).

I am a white trans queer neurodivergent (ADHDer) able-bodied woman living with chronic pain who believes in harm reduction and abolition. If I sound like someone you’d like to embark on a creative and cathartic journey with, please feel free to reach out!
